Component Description
We combat identity theft
using a variety of components, each designed to help detect,
mitigate, and resolve the problem. Here is what these components
do to solve the problem:

The numbers of identity
theft occurrences are reduced by the Education
component.

Credit
Reporting and Credit and Fraud Monitoring Programs
provide for early detection of the problem. Early
detection is a key element in relieving the victim of
the problem.
- The Resolution Assistance
is done by a third party advocate causing a speedy resolution
to the problem. This saves the employee time and emotional
stress and also saves the employee’s coworkers time
and creates a more orderly work environment.
- The Legal and Reimbursement
parts of the program help minimize the out of pocket
costs of the identity theft victim.
